Our dedicated in-house Community Partnership Team runs community engagement initiatives that share the benefits of the work we do on your land with the local community.
These might include projects with local schools, engagement with local wildlife groups, or even funding for local sustainability initiatives. We recognise that every community and every relationship is different, so we tailor our work according to what would add the most local value. Alongside our development work, we are fostering strategic partnerships with a range of conservation bodies to help unlock delivery through investment (or co-investment alongside other funders who perhaps don’t have the necessary skills and expertise). We are also engaging with policymakers including IUCN, DEFRA, BEIS, DESNZ, Natural England and NatureScot to advocate for the responsible use of private finance in meeting UK nature recovery targets, as well as sharing best practice.
